The HiTime vessel can accommodate up to 6 passenger plus 2 crew members. Charter rates are based on the use of the vessel for the allotted time. HiTime Charters does not sell individual tickets.

Whale Watching Charter

We recommend that guests bring their favorite rain gear including waterproof footwear. Temperatures will normally range from 55° to 70° F during the summer months, but lows of 45° and highs of 80° F are not out of the question. Warm layers are always a good idea because you can take layers off, but you can't put it on if you don't have it!

Alaskan snacks including smoked salmon, cheese, and crackers are served on all half day charters and sandwich makings are available for full day trips. Coffee, sodas, and hot water for tea or hot chocolate are always available. We do not provide alcoholic beverages but guests may bring their own.

For form submissions, we will respond via email with confirmation of your selection or, if the dates have been previously reserved, suggestions of other dates that may fit your schedule.

Deposits and Cancellations

When reservations are confirmed, you must guarantee your reservation with a 50% deposit via check or money order. Please send payment to:

If you must cancel your trip, the deposit will be fully refunded for cancellations over 30 days from the reserved date. For cancellations within 7 to 29 days, the deposit will be 50% refunded, and sorry, but there are no refunds for cancellations less than 7 days prior to the reserved date.

Rates for charter services delivered from within the city/borough of Juneau are subject to a 5% Juneau sales tax. Rates are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
