The Charter Vessel HiTime

The Charter Vessel HiTime

The new generation of the C/V HiTime is a 28 foot welded aluminum vessel powered by twin state of the art 250hp Yamaha outboards. She cruises at near 30 mph, meaning more time spent sightseeing and fishing and less time running.

Creature comforts are also important, and the HiTime is outfitted to make sure you will be comfortable. The cabin and bathroom with electric flush toilet are heated to keep them warm and cozy on those cool, damp days that are common in Southeast Alaska during the summer months. Seating in the cabin comfortably accommodates six passengers and the crew of two. The galley area includes a sink with fresh running water, and there is always hot coffee in the pump pot.

As a passenger carrying vessel, safety is our top priority. The HiTime is equipped with state of the art navigation and communication equipment including GPS, radar, chart plotter, depth sounder and 2 VHF radios. Life jackets for all passengers and a throwable safety device are always onboard.

The Crew

We believe the old saying "a business is only as good as it's people" is especially true in a people-oriented business like ours. Catching fish and appreciating the natural beauty of the area are part of the experience, but don't in themselves make the outing a delightful, memorable one. Friendly, polite, helpful, knowledgeable and safe personnel make all the difference.

Captain Toni Wisner

Captain Toni WisnerToni Wisner is one of the few female charter captains in Alaska. She grew up on the Long Beach peninsula of Southwest Washington and now lives in Juneau. Having been around boats since childhood, she has been in the charter and fishing business since 1979. Her fishing experience includes Oregon, Washington and Alaska, both charter and commercial.

Toni is very easy going, "lives to fish," and about the only time she gets really excited is when there is a fish on or the whales are frolicking close to the boat. She currently holds a U.S. Coast Guard Masters license to operate vessels up to 100 gross tons.
